When we moved back to Houston, we moved to The Woodlands, a suburb of the city that has quickly turned into a pretty big city in its own right. Its got everything we need, so we usually stay put. But sometimes the city calls and we just go. Like this weekend. We headed south to the city to spend some time at the Houston Museum District. The Houston Museum of Natural Sciences is my favorite and always a hit with kids of all ages. But my favorite moment from the weekend was our afternoon spent rolling down the hill at the Miller Outdoor Theater. It was a sea of kids rolling themselves and their toys down the big green wave. It turns out this is the favorite Saturday afternoon activity of a lot of other Houstonians as well. And we were glad to join them!
